GISM Campus in Nugegoda has following vacancies for immediate recruitment:
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Information Science
- Must have bachelor and Masters qualifications in the field of Computing obtained from a recognized university with full-time studies and more than two years of university-level lecturing experience.
- Must be able to lecture IT, programming, web developments, data science, computer science, software engineering basic and advance modules.
- Research and project design and development experience with applications.
- Students project handling and ability to help students for laboratory work.
- Knowledge and experience to assist our students and staff for computer applications and help in digital media marketing for business development.
For Senior Lecture positions, you must have a PhD or a Bachelors + Master Degree with industry experience.
Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Business Studies
- The purpose of the Senior Lecturer in Management is to undertake learning facilitation, research, and assist with where appropriate. In addition, the following is considered the ideal profile required:
- A PhD in Business Management or related discipline or,
- A Bachelor degree in Management, Business, or a similar field and Master's qualifications obtained from a recognized University with relevant industry experience, preferably at management level.
- Demonstrated evidence of program design and delivery at undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- A record of research publications and currently research active.
- Experience in provision of academic leadership in university level with program management, examination, and Quality Assurance.
- Sound Administrative and Communication Skills.
- Able to lecture Business Economics, Organizational Management, Management Information Systems, Business Mathematics, and Foundation Economics.
