Are you a motivated and skilled professional looking to grow your career in auditing? We have an exciting opening for an Audit Associate 2 to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in conducting audit engagements, following established guidelines and standards.
- Perform analytical reviews of financial statements, internal controls, and accounting systems.
- Support the identification and communication of audit findings, offering constructive recommendations.
- Collaborate with the audit team to ensure smooth and efficient completion of assignments.
- Engage with clients to address queries and facilitate the audit process.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in auditing practices and regulations.
- Contribute to the preparation of audit reports and presentations.
Qualifications:
- Following Business Level 2 at CASL / Member or Passed Finalist of AATSL/ Following Applied Knowledge Level at ACCA/ Following Managerial Level at CIMA or other similar professional background.
- 4th Year undergraduate/Graduate of bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 1 year work experience in external auditing at a reputed audit firm.
- Knowledge of auditing principles, financial reporting, and accounting standards.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
- Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members. (Sinhala & English) Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
