Due to the expansion in the business, we have a vacancy for the following position and we seek a dynamic, versatile and self motivated individual with Can Do' attitude to join the team.
ASSISTANT ENGINEER - CABLE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS
- Evaluate Cable Management systems, products, components and applications by designing, conducting research programs and applying required engineering skills.
- Prepare detailed cost estimates, designs, material lists, installation packages and test & maintenance procedures for Cable Management Systems, based on industry standards.
- Review & finalize details cost estimates, designs, material lists, installation packages and test & maintenance procedures.
- Design & specifies installation methods, materials and layouts for cable racks, cable tray runways, lighting, floor & rack layouts for various local & geographically remote locations.
- Provide installation engineering technical support to engineering, installation and operational personnel including troubleshooting and repair recommendations.
- Prepare estimates of installation labor time and materials, coordination of materials & supplies, ordering & site installation support.
- Evaluate mechanical systems and products by designing & conducting research programs and applying principles of mechanics, thermodynamics, hydraulics, heat transfer and material engineering.
- Design parts, components and assemblies to meet requirements of assigned projects.
- Create CAD models including parts & assembly drawings, bills of materials to support manufacturing, testing & assembly and support components to assist with assembly.
- Support product sourcing, purchasing and selection as required by the design process.
- Provide technical and engineering support for day-to-day processing, product development and process improvements.
Prerequisites;
- IET/HNDE/NDT or similar qualifications in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution.
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institution will be an added qualification.
- Minimum 2 years working experience in the similar capacity in an Engineering company.

- Good command of English language.
- Age below 30 years.
