About Us
Ayuda Center of Healing has both residential and day programmes located at Pamunugama, Ja-ela & Thalenna, Negombo. We provide healthy, personalised menus to suit our client's needs. We are looking for an experienced Chef/Cook who can provide both local and innovative international cuisines.
We're looking for a talented and experienced Chef/Cook to join our team!
Responsibilities
- Create and execute delicious and creative dishes
- Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, plating, and presentation
- Manage and train kitchen staff
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety regulations
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
- Develop and implement new menu items
- Manage kitchen inventory and place orders for supplies
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chef or Cook (minimum of 5 years)
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and recipes
- Experience working in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively under pressure
- Ability to stay calm and collected during busy periods
- Commitment to providing excellent customer service
- Fluent in English
