Vacancy for a Service Technician (Mechanical/Electrical) - Boilers / Heaters

In order to strengthen the scope and functions of the engineering department, due to expansion of business operations, we are looking for a young, energetic person who is enthusiastic about boilers/heaters to be appointed as Service Technician (Mechanical/Electrical) - Boilers / Heaters.
SERVICE TECHNICIAN (MECHANICAL/ELECTRICAL) - BOILERS / HEATERS
Job Profile:
- Servicing of Steam Boilers, Thermic heaters and Hot Water Generators.
- Repair and servicing of burners, pumps, blowers, valves and other accessories of boilers
- Troubleshoot Unit problems and provide acceptable working solutions
- Need to visit client sites at short notice & work long hours even during weekends and holidays
- Willing to travel to any part of the Island and may occasionally overseas
- Attend to both preventive & Breakdown maintenance of Units
- Basic ability to read and understand engineering drawings both mechanical & electrical
- Attend to client complaints promptly, build and maintain relationships with clients and provide feedback to the management
- Identify spare parts requirements of units under service supervision
Qualifications:
- NCT or NVQ Level 4 qualifications or equivalent in mechanical/electrical technology from a reputed institution
- Minimum 02 years hands-on experience in maintenance and servicing of boilers/heaters
- Qualifications and experience in electrical work would be advantageous
The remuneration package is negotiable and is based on qualifications & experience.
