PROJECT MANAGER - TELECOMMUNICATION INSTALLATIONS
UEXPLUS, in partnership with Elabram Telecommunications, is actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to lead our dynamic telecom installation projects. This role is pivotal to ensuring the successful implementation and management of our BTS, NodeB, and RNC equipment installations, following project specifications and equipment guidelines. WHAT WE LOOK FOR
- Degree in Telecommunication, Electrical and Electronic Engineering or equivalent
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in Project Manager/Team Leader, preferably with a focus on equipment installations.
- Strong technical knowledge of BTS, NodeB, and RNC equipment, with a clear understanding of equipment guidelines and standards.
- Experience in coordinating and managing subcontractors in a construction or telecommunications setting.
- Proficiency in conducting site surveys, analyzing technical requirements, and reporting findings effectively
- In-depth understanding of safety protocols and EHS regulations related to telecommunications installations.
- Excellent communication skills to interact with team members, subcontractors, and clients effectively
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality work standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversee telecom installation projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and guidelines.
- Supervise BTS, NodeB, and RNC equipment installation, coordinating with teams and contractors.
- Control engineering activities, including plan exchange and equipment layout approval. Monitor project progress, identify deviations, and implement corrective actions.
- Provide technical support, resolving issues during the project.
- Plan resources, budget, and manage procurement.
- Create work plans and schedules for timely project completion.
- Ensure safety compliance and effective communication with stakeholders.
