About Us:
Selyn is Sri Lanka's only Fair-Trade certified handloom company. For the last 32 years, we engage the traditional Sri Lankan community of handloom weavers in producing fashion, accessories, home products, toys, fabrics, retailing, and exporting worldwide.
Job Title:
Accounts Executive - Finance & Taxation
Responsibilities:
- Handling export related documents and payments
- Follow up on import clearing process and payments
- Preparing bank reconciliation, debtors report, local outstanding report, etc.
- Preparing VAT/WHT/PAYE reports and arranging payments
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years' experience in relevant field
- Degree/diploma or partly qualified in ICASL
- Exposure to computerized accounting packages (QB and ERP System)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to take up challenges with a positive attitude
- Fluent in English
- Female candidates preferred
- Ability to work under pressure with minimum supervision
