ASSISTANT MANAGER - FINANCE
We are looking for young, dynamic, energetic and self-motivated team player who is willing to pursue a career in insurance. Here's your opportunity to join the winning team and achieve greater heights in your profession.
Key Job Role & Responsibilities:
- Preparation & review of the monthly management accounts & annual financial statements
- Analysis of the variances of income statement & balance sheet
- Formulation the company annual budget, subsequent forecasts and initiating budgetary control activities
- Preparation & submission of all regulatory reporting requirements of the Finance division
- Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements, particularly taxes
- Supervision and guiding the subordinates in MIS unit to deliver accurate management information by the deadline
- Handle special assignments and management reports as and when needed
Requirements:
- CIMA/CASL/ACCA qualification/reading for final level or a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
- A minimum of 3 year experience in auditing or corporate experience in Finance at an executive or above capacity
- Experience in the Insurance industry would be a definite advantage
- Sound knowledge of accounting standards & tax related matters
- Hands on experience in using MS Office package
- Team player with good interpersonal & communication skills
- Excellent analytical and decision making skills
- Age preferable below 35 years
Location: Colombo (Head Office)
