ASSISTANT MANAGER - FINANCE

We are looking for young, dynamic, energetic and self-motivated team player who is willing to pursue a career in insurance. Here's your opportunity to join the winning team and achieve greater heights in your profession.

Key Job Role & Responsibilities:

  • Preparation & review of the monthly management accounts & annual financial statements
  • Analysis of the variances of income statement & balance sheet
  • Formulation the company annual budget, subsequent forecasts and initiating budgetary control activities
  • Preparation & submission of all regulatory reporting requirements of the Finance division
  • Ensure adherence to all statutory requirements, particularly taxes
  • Supervision and guiding the subordinates in MIS unit to deliver accurate management information by the deadline
  • Handle special assignments and management reports as and when needed

Requirements:

  • CIMA/CASL/ACCA qualification/reading for final level or a Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy
  • A minimum of 3 year experience in auditing or corporate experience in Finance at an executive or above capacity
  • Experience in the Insurance industry would be a definite advantage
  • Sound knowledge of accounting standards & tax related matters
  • Hands on experience in using MS Office package
  • Team player with good interpersonal & communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and decision making skills
  • Age preferable below 35 years

Location: Colombo (Head Office)
