Banquet and Sales Manager
Responsibilities:
- Manage event bookings, from initial inquiries to execution, ensuring seamless coordination and customer satisfaction.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed expectations.
- Train, mentor, and supervise staff to maintain high standards of service & professionalism.
- Coordinate with the relevant departments to ensure the quality and consistency of the service.
- Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability while controlling costs.
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business goals and revenue.
- Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the hotel's market reach.
- Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any client concerns promptly.
Qualifications:
- Higher diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management/Business Management.
- Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Banquet Management.
- Fluency in English and computer literacy.
- Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to interact effectively with Guests, Staff, and Vendors.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Applicant should be located near Kandy.
