Banquet and Sales Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Manage event bookings, from initial inquiries to execution, ensuring seamless coordination and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to exceed expectations.
  • Train, mentor, and supervise staff to maintain high standards of service & professionalism.
  • Coordinate with the relevant departments to ensure the quality and consistency of the service.
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize revenue and profitability while controlling costs.
  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve business goals and revenue.
  • Identify new business opportunities and market trends to expand the hotel's market reach.
  • Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to senior management.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any client concerns promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Higher diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality Management/Business Management.
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in Banquet Management.
  • Fluency in English and computer literacy.
  • Excellent Communication and Interpersonal Skills, with the ability to interact effectively with Guests, Staff, and Vendors.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Applicant should be located near Kandy.
