APPAREL MERCHANDISER AND QUALITY CONTROLLER
VACANCIES IN CHINA.
A leading apparel brand in the USA is seeking merchandisers and quality controllers with a minimum of 5 years experience who are able to work as a team for its China buying office.
Merchandiser
Primary Responsibilities:
- Product sourcing with competitive pricing and quality.
- Review and ensure tech pack accuracy for SMS and bulk production.
- Collaborate with QA Team to verify style vendor factory activities.
- Verify costs.
- Monitor WIP reports and conduct meetings.
- Track the status and delivery of samples.
- Monitor the calendar and engage with cross-functional teams to ensure all key dates are met.
- Coordinate with the head office.
Education and Experience:
- Experience and knowledge in sports/activewear (knit and woven) required.
- A Minimum Bachelor's university degree and professional work experience are required.
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
Quality Controller
Primary Responsibilities:
- Inspect and ensure product quality at various stages of production.
- Work closely with vendors to address quality issues.
- Conduct regular audits of factories to maintain quality standards.
- Coordinate with the merchandisers to ensure quality control standards are met.
- Ability to conduct fabric inspections is a plus
Education and Experience:
- Experience in quality control within the apparel industry.
- Knowledge of quality standards and inspection techniques.
- A Minimum Bachelor's university degree is required.
- Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
