Odoo Developer (Remote) Full-time/Part-time

We are seeking a skilled Odoo Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Odoo ERP solutions to meet our business requirements. This role involves working closely with clients to understand their needs, conducting thorough business process analysis, and implementing effective Odoo solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and customize Odoo ERP solutions.
  • Assist with modules, extensions and integrations.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Debug and resolve technical issues and bugs.
  • Optimize system performance and ensure scalability.
  • Provide technical support and training to end-users as needed.
  • Stay updated with the latest Odoo developments and industry trends.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of experience as an Odoo Developer with a strong understanding of Odoo architecture and module development.
  • Proficiency in Python programming language.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL database management.
  • Familiarity with front-end technologies (XML, JavaScript, HTML, CSS).
  • Knowledge of Linux operating system and Cloud technologies.
  • Must know about code versioning tools like Git, Bitbucket etc.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Odoo.sh and Odoo Enterprise.
  • In-depth knowledge of Odoo framework, architecture, and module development.
  • Ability to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers. Conduct code reviews and enforce best practices in development, security, and performance optimization.
  • Design, develop, and customize Odoo modules to meet specific business requirements. Implement new features and functionalities while ensuring high code quality and performance.
  • Develop and maintain integrations between Odoo and third-party applications, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Develop and execute unit tests, integration tests, and automated testing frameworks to ensure the reliability and quality of developed solutions.
