JOB POSITION: DESKTOP SUPPORT ENGINEER/TECH SERVICES ANALYST

JOB ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Resolve incidents and fulfill requests promptly
  • Provide assistance to Operations for tasks requiring physical presence
  • Technicians must possess a wide range of technical skills and knowledge, including knowledge of computer hardware and software, operating systems, networks and security compliance
  • Assist IT Functions, acting as the local "Hand and Eyes" in resolving IT technical issues

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED

  • Proficient in using ITSM tools like ServiceNow
  • Exposure to handling incidents/service requests related to Google Workspace, Office 365 and Adobe Cloud Products will be an added advantage
  • Experience in handling issues related to OS Deployment, Antivirus, Patch Management, Encryption, Vulnerability fixes, VDI, Citrix
  • Hands on experience on Backup & Restoration, Alerts monitoring and actioning- Zabbix, Senaphone
  • Experience in Data Center Monitoring and Management
  • Flexibility to work on shifts (Rotational Basis)

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate degree or equivalent in Electronics/Computer Science
  • MCP Certification, Sound knowledge on Windows & Mac platforms, basic networking concepts
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in end user computing
