Senior IT Support Engineer (Night Shift)
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Take ownership of user issues reported and see problems through to resolution.
- Research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve user issues.
- Follow standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams.
- Provide prompt and accurate feedback to users.
- Assure technical support, design, troubleshoot, and resolve problems related to networks, servers, desktops, MS0365 Cloud Office Applications, Windows 10/11 Pro operating systems, VOIP Network.
- Perform system administration activities, which include coordinating and managing the purchasing, installation, and configuration of desktops, software, and related application software upgrades.
- Implement standards and processes for application support and infrastructure management.
- Follow the SLA for issues with respect to the severity and Compliance standards related to HIPAA and SOC2 Type II.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Strong Verbal and written communication in English is a must.
- Minimum 2+ years' experience in a hands-on IT Infrastructure system support role.
- Strong knowledge in Windows desktop support.
- Experience in O365 - Configuration of emails, Password resets & Problem and Incident Management.
- Adding members to groups, Shared mailboxes, Email forwarding.
- MFA, Managing group owners, Knowledge of SharePoint and Teams, Email backup and restore.
- Sound knowledge in Networking: IP address configuration, DNS, Proxy, VPN.
- Previous exposure to supporting clients based in US/ UK would be advantageous.
- Flexible in working outside of core business hours at short notice.
