ACCOUNTANT
H. E. ENGINEERING (PVT) LTD IS A WELL ESTABLISHED AND FINANCIALLY STABLE COMPANY WITH A 29 YEAR TRACK RECORD, INVOLVED IN SPECIALIZED CONSTRUCTION RELATED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES, INCLUDING WATERPROOFING, RANGE OF SPECIALIZED CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS, CONCRETE REHABILITATION, STRUCTURAL STRENGTHENING, INJECTION GROUTING, SPECIALIZED COATINGS, FINISHING PRODUCTS, ETC. WE HAVE BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH MANY OF THE PRESTIGIOUS PROJECTS IN SRI LANKA AND THE REPUBLIC OF MALDIVES. WE ARE THE PREFERRED SPECIALISED SERVICE PROVIDER/MATERIAL SUPPLIER TO NUMEROUS CUSTOMERS.
THE CANDIDATE'S PROFILE:
- 04 years of work experience in the private sector.
- Part qualification (up to Final level) or full qualification in CA or ACCA or equivalent.
- Age below 55 years.
THE CANDIDATE'S CAPABILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Management of a team of accounts staff.
- General operations and overall management of accounts and finance activities.
- Preparation of monthly accounts.
- Computation and submission of VAT, SVAT, Corporate tax and other statutory tax payments.
- Understanding of statutory taxes and managing matters related to IRD.
- Target oriented and ability to meet deadlines.
- Experience with accounting packages such as Accsoft, etc
- Good computer/IT skills.
