Finance Manager JAT Property
Requirements
- Should be a certified Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience
- Prior experience in a property development or construction company would be an added advantage
- Demonstrated excellent analytical skills with a strong understanding of financial operating systems and procedures
- Outstanding communication and leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Accountable for the preparation and timely submission of accurate monthly management accounts for JAT Property and its subsidiaries, including cost analysis reports, consolidated financial statements, and other required management reports
- Oversee the preparation of bank reconciliations and administration of the chart of accounts
- Taking charge of the annual budget preparation, coordinating necessary information for both the Company and the Group
- Handling the preparation of project costings to facilitate quoting housing prices, overseeing the invoicing process, monitoring contractor payments, and providing periodic reports to monitor projects
- Act as the central point for all Inland Revenue Department queries, preparing and reporting annual tax liability returns (IT/ESC impact/DT impact), and coordinate with tax consultants and auditors when necessary
- Responsible for the closure of audited accounts without qualifications for JAT Property and all subsidiaries, while also coordinating workflow control improvements with internal auditors, including JAT exports audits and DMCC audits
- Promote proper documentation processes within departments
- Ensure timely completion of ad-hoc tasks assigned by management
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of direct subordinates and department members, providing support for training initiatives to enhance team capacity
- Foster a performance-oriented and cost-conscious culture with sustainable initiatives
- Participate in new project feasibility analysis as required by management
