Area Manager
MA's Kitchen is a well-known food manufacturer in Sri Lanka. With four manufacturing facilities situated in key growing regions, we manufacture over 300 different products for customers in local and global markets. Our unwavering commitment revolves around providing outstanding culinary solutions to the Retail, Hotels, Restaurants & Catering (HoReCa), and Industrial sectors.
We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced salesperson to take on the role of an Area Manager in our General Trade team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in growing a trade area and managing a sales team. They will be responsible for the following:
- Developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new distributors
- Monitoring and supervising a team of sales representatives.
The ideal candidate will have the following qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in a sales position, preferably in the food/FMCG sector.
- Proven ability in team work and management
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English and Sinhala, the ability to converse in Tamil would be an added advantage. Ability to work in a computerized environment.
The position is based within the western province and will require extensive travelling within their area of responsibility.
