Job role
Join WEBXPAY, a leading fintech company, as a backend developer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and React.js. As a key member of our team, you will contribute to the development of robust and scalable backend solutions, integrate them with frontend elements, and deploy applications on AWS infrastructure. What will you do
- Work in an agile team of developers, QA, DevOps, and stakeholders
- Implement new systems and redesign legacy systems, using leading technologies, to support advancing Research business requirements
- Research and analyze business and system needs. Explore solution options to recommend designs and technologies
- Writing test cases
Skills and requirements
- Proven experience as a backend developer, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in PHP, Laravel, MySQL, and React.js
- Strong understanding of RESTful API design and development
- Proficient in database design, optimization, and management Database like MySQL and/or PostgreSQL
- Experience with frontend technologies, especially React.js, is a plus
- Familiarity with version control systems, such as Bitbucket, will be advantageous
- Experience with AWS services for deployment and infrastructure management
- Comfortable applying engineering best practices for test-driven development, integration testing, version control, release management, work estimation, and planning
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
