Pelwatte Dairy Industries is a truly Sri Lankan company situated at Buttala in Monaragala district engages on dairy products manufacturing by using fresh milk collected from local dairy farmers. We are looking for dynamic and energetic candidates, those who possess the following requirements.

- Factory Finance Manager - Buththala (Monaragala District)
We are currently looking to recruit a young, dynamic, result oriented, and highly motivated individual for the position of Factory Finance Manager to be based in our factory premises situated at Buththala (Monaragala District) and the position will be directly reporting to the Group Chief Financial Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Preparation of Plant Level Monthly Management Accounts and variation analysis.
- Monitoring and sharing of timely basis production information with corporate office management
- Daily monitoring of Key Expense (Energy Cost / Manpower Cost / Raw Material & Packing Material Variation against production/ etc..) and justify the reason for fluctuation with respective process owners.
- Check and approve Sales Invoices and other key documentations at plant level.
- Preparation of Product Costing and review on fortnight basis.
- Monitoring of daily/weekly and monthly production against the budget to ensure most profitable product mix in a limited raw material environment.
- Monitor and report production line wise cost fluctuation.
- Drive cost-saving initiatives with the factory Management team and report after review and validate.
- Monitor and identify upcoming plant repairs and modification with factory engineer.
- Maintaining and review of internal controls to ensure financial and non-financial related discipline.
- Monitoring of daily wastage and scrap sale.
- Responsible to ensure accurate and 100% stock count on a monthly basis.
- Facilitating of ad hoc reporting requirement assigned by Group CFO & Finance Manager.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Full Qualification of CA Sri Lanka / CIMA/ACCA with 5 to 10 years similar Plant/Factory Level experience in a reputed Manufacturing Organization.
- Should have computerized accounting experience and preferably with SAP or Oracle /Info.
- Preferably a person who has exposure with lean, 5s, etc and ready to re-engineer the process with the leadership.
- Should be a self-motivated Team Player and result-oriented person with an Analytical Mind
- Excellent Communication Skills (English/ Sinhala and Tamil would be an added advantage).
- Computer Literacy and Hands-on Experience on Advance Excel.
- Ability to work under pressure and extended hours with minimum supervision.
- Degree in a reputed university would be an added advantage.
- Age below 40 years.
