System & Network Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated System and Network Engineer to join our dynamic team.

This role involves providing expert remote support for a variety of technical issues related to Desktop Support, firewalls, routers, networks, VPNs, Printer, Desktop PC and specific hardware like Ubiquiti / Fortigate & NGFW Firewalls.

Key Responsibilities

  • Engage with customers to fully comprehend their IT requirements.
  • Utilize remote login capabilities to analyze and diagnose network issues, gaining comprehensive knowledge of the network's physical and logical infrastructure.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality when accessing customer systems to protect their data.
  • Collaborate with foreign clients, discussing IT requirements via Zoom/Teams, and be adaptable to working US time zones. Experience in troubleshooting and configuring Fortinet, Sophos, Pfsense, TPLink Omada, and Unifi Firewalls.
  • Understanding, designing, and planning networks, including Switch Port, VLAN, VLAN IDS, Trunk, POE, LAG, and QoS configuration.
  • Knowledge of L2tp, OpenVPN, Wireguard VPN, SSH, NAT, Routing, DNS, DDNS, S2S VPN, and Firewall Policies.
  • Expertise in Wi-Fi signals, bandwidth, wireless channels, and network monitoring.
  • Strong understanding of Windows Server configuration and troubleshooting (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Radius, VPN, FTP, SMB, Users & Group, Group Policies).
  • Experience with CCTV and surveillance systems, access control configurations, and troubleshooting (Hikvision, Dahua, Ubiquity, TPLink).
  • Familiarity with Synology, TrueNAS, QNAP NAS configurations, and troubleshooting.
  • Good understanding of business networks, home networks, and critical business networks.
  • VOIP Systems knowledge - FreePBX, Grandstream, 3CX, Unifi.
  • Experience with VMWare, Hyper-V, Proxmox, and basic Linux knowledge.
  • Must have good understanding about Networks.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in network and system configuration and troubleshooting.
  • Degree of Diploma in System / Network Administration.
  • CCNA / CCNP
  • Fortinet NSE
  • Azure / AWS Foundation - Optional
