ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
With a track record of 40+ years, LTL Holdings Limited is a leading diversified power sector conglomerate, with operations in Power Generation, Engineering Procurement & Construction (EPC) and Operation & Maintenance (O&M) Service of Power Plants, and Manufacturing of Distribution Equipment such as transformers, switchgears, and fabrication / galvanizing of steel structures. In line with emerging themes of energy transition across its key target markets, LTL intends to focus on increasing investments in cleaner energy (Gas/Renewables).
The group consists of 12 companies in Sri Lanka and has overseas operations in Bangladesh, Singapore, India and Nepal and its products are exported to more than 25 countries.

We are currently searching for a suitable candidate to join one of our SBUS as an Assistant Accountant.
Job Overview:
- Analyze manufacturing costs, provide insights into cost trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect and analyze data related to materials, labor, and overhead costs.
- Develop and maintain cost allocation methods and standards for accurate cost distribution.
- Monitor and report on variances between actual and budgeted costs, identifying reasons for discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of Budgets, Forecasts, and Financial Reports related to manufacturing activities. Participate in inventory valuation and reconciliation to ensure accurate Financial Reporting.
- Evaluate the efficiency of production processes and identify areas for cost reduction.
- Support the Finance team in month-end and year-end closing processes.
Candidate Profile:
- A Member of CIMA or CMA or following Strategic Level in CA. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is a must. Minimum of 2 years of experience in Accounting or Auditing is a must.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret Financial data and trends. Familiarity with ERP Systems and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Willing to work both internationally and locally on-site.
