Senior Software Architect
We are looking for passionate candidates to join the Sri Lankan operations of an Australian-based cutting-edge Technology Company serving both government and private organizations in Australia and New Zealand.
This is a full-time employment with the possibility to extend based on your performance. We offer attractive packages and flexibility of working from home (maintaining social distancing to stay safe and healthy as well as saving commuting time and cost).

Skill Requirements:
- Technology Assessment: Analyze and understand the current technology stack for each VBU.
- Strategic Collaboration: Work closely with senior management, Product Management, and Product Marketing to align with the commercial goals for the next generation of software products.
- Technical Planning: Develop and maintain technical roadmaps, blueprints, and detailed structural diagrams.
- Technology Evaluation: Collaborate with stakeholders to establish criteria for selecting new technologies.
- Mentorship and Relationship Building: Mentor technical teams, fostering strong working relationships and promoting best practices in architecture, coding standards, branching strategies, and release schedules.
- Design and Code Review: Lead thorough reviews of design, code, testing, and automated testing procedures.
- Quality Assurance: Promote a quality-first approach to coding, setting high standards for code quality.
- Effective Communication: Regularly communicate architecture and technical decisions to both business stakeholders and technical team members.
- Industry Awareness: Stay informed about competitors and emerging technologies to enhance product features, improve quality, and reduce development timescales.
Required Qualifications:
- Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Professional Experience: Over 15 years of extensive experience in software development and project management.
- Re-platforming Expertise: Proven track record in re-platforming complex software applications across multiple projects.
- Web Application Proficiency: In-depth understanding of enterprise web applications.
- Technical Problem-Solving: Hands-on technologist skilled in solving problems across diverse technical streams.
- User Experience Focus: Strong passion for and understanding of all aspects of user experience.
- Leadership and Mentorship: Experience in mentoring and developing technical team members.
- Clear Communication: Ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly to key business stakeholders.
- Analytical Skills: Highly analytical with the ability to understand both the big picture and intricate details.
- Presentation Skills: Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
Must-Have Qualifications
- Excellent Knowledge in Microsoft Technology Stack (VB.NET. .NET, C#.NET) Experience in Azure Cloud
- Microsoft Certifications
