WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
HRCLABS SENIOR BI ENGINEER
FULL-TIME
DESIGNATION: Senior BI Engineer
LOCATION
WORK DAYS
SHIFT (SLST)
Sri Lanka
Monday to Friday
3.00 PM-12.00 AM (Straddle)
OTHER DETAILS: US calendar applicable
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Design and develop BI solutions, including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations.
- Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain data warehouses and data models.
- Optimize and tune BI solutions for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity in BI solutions.
- Collaborate with IT and business teams to integrate data from various sources.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior BI engineers.
- Stay current with the latest BI technologies and best practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to BI solutions.
- Document BI solutions, including design specifications and user guides.
Qualifications/Criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Systems, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate, Tableau Certification) are a plus.
- Minimum of 4-5 years of experience in BI development or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing BI solutions.
- Experience in data warehousing, data modeling, and ETL processes.
- Demonstrated ability to lead projects and mentor junior staff.
- Strong proficiency in BI tools, with mandatory expertise in Tableau and Power Bi.
- Expertise in SQL and database management systems (e.g., SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL).
- Experience with data warehousing and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of data modeling and data architecture.
- Familiarity with programming languages (e.g., Python, R) for data analysis.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
- Project management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
