Job Description

This is a full-time role for a Social Media Support Executive. The ideal candidate will be responsible for day-to-day tasks related to social media marketing, including media planning, communication, writing, and social media optimization. This role is located in Colombo and requires on-site work.

Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or social media.
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information using the right methods and tools.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Maintain a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward customers at all times.
  • Troubleshoot customer issues and escalate problems to appropriate teams as needed.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents.
  • Build sustainable relationships and trust with customer accounts through open and interactive communication.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and writing skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Experience with social media analytics and reporting
  • Ability to adapt to changing trends and technologies in social media
  • Relevant degree in marketing, communications, or a related field
  • Previous experience in social media marketing is a plus
  • Ability to work on a Full-time shift basis role - Hybrid work options available as well (Monday to Friday- 2 pm to 10 pm & Sunday - 12 noon to 8 pm).
