SENIOR MERCHANDISER / MERCHANDISER - DEVELOPMENT
The Job:
As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in managing and optimizing the merchandising process to ensure the availability of products that meet our quality standards and customer demands.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in merchandising, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate with various teams.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with design and product development teams to translate concepts into viable product lines.
- Source new materials and suppliers to support product innovation and sustainability efforts.
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and lead times with suppliers to optimize cost efficiency and production timelines.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities for product development.
- Manage the end-to-end product development process, from concept ideation to final product delivery.
- Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and partners to drive collaboration and innovation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Textile Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in merchandising, product development, or sourcing.
- Excellent project management and organizational abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships with suppliers and partners.
- Passion for fashion, creativity, and innovation.
