MEAL Officer (Colombo)
Job duties and responsibilities
- Lead, develop, implement, and strengthen MEAL systems and processes to assure achievement and progress towards program objectives and outcomes.
- Coordinate the data collection with project team members as needed to effectively track and communicate results.
- Coordinate with the field staff efficiently and distribute MEAL related tasks according to Monitoring and Evaluation requirements.
- Develop and execute the MEAL Plan for Program/projects, coordinate, monitor, and formulate the performance of the quality monitoring system indicators.
- Willingness to travel project sites for monitoring and evaluation purposes.
Required skills and qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting in Development sectors.
- Bachelor's degree in Data science or equal qualification in the related field.
- An effective communicator, capable of articulating issues and coordinating solutions across teams.
- Experience in MEAL management, research work, quality, and quantity checking is an added advantage.
