Executive - Category Management

What you need to do

  • Develop category strategies to achieve category sales and profitability targets.
  • Manage the product range to optimize profitability and customer satisfaction.

What we are looking for

  • Should possess a Degree in Business Administration/ Management/ Marketing.
  • Candidates with experience in FMCG will have a distinct advantage.
  • Supplier relationship management.
  • Negotiate and track income and trading terms.
  • Develop promotion strategies and implement them.
  • Own the end-to-end buying and merchandising processes.
  • Outstanding communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Demonstrable aptitude for effective negotiation.
  • Up to speed with buying best practices.
  • Familiarity with market research and data analysis.
  • Ensure Keells have the most profitable range that is customer focused and insight driven.
  • Work closely with the operations team and supply chain team to ensure we resolve problems, ask the right questions to find out issues, and resolve them collectively.
  • Identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trends.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office and MS PowerPoint will be an added advantage.
  • Decision-making skills and the ability to implement tasks according to planned timelines.
