Executive - Category Management
What you need to do
- Develop category strategies to achieve category sales and profitability targets.
- Manage the product range to optimize profitability and customer satisfaction.
What we are looking for
- Should possess a Degree in Business Administration/ Management/ Marketing.
- Candidates with experience in FMCG will have a distinct advantage.
- Supplier relationship management.
- Negotiate and track income and trading terms.
- Develop promotion strategies and implement them.
- Own the end-to-end buying and merchandising processes.
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Demonstrable aptitude for effective negotiation.
- Up to speed with buying best practices.
- Familiarity with market research and data analysis.
- Ensure Keells have the most profitable range that is customer focused and insight driven.
- Work closely with the operations team and supply chain team to ensure we resolve problems, ask the right questions to find out issues, and resolve them collectively.
- Identify customer preferences and forecast consumer trends.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and MS PowerPoint will be an added advantage.
- Decision-making skills and the ability to implement tasks according to planned timelines.
