TRAINEE IT ADMINISTRATOR
Join our dynamic team at Verbum Television. We are offering an IT Administrator Trainee position for individuals passionate about starting their career in IT and eager to learn in a hands-on environment.
Required Qualifications.
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Certifications such as CompTIA, Cisco, or Microsoft are a plus.
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networking, problem identifying and troubleshooting skills.
- Eager to learn and able to work in a team environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Mentorship from experienced IT professionals.
- Experience with procurement of IT assets, both hardware and software.
- Experience in the field of Mass media will be an added advantage.
- Ready to adapt, learn and manage new technology from multiple industries.
- Good team player
- Must be able to work on weekends and public holidays, as required by the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain the company's IT network, servers, equipment, and security systems.
- Assist in managing and maintaining IT equipment and networks.
- Support the IT team in daily tasks, including troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Learn about system security measures and data backup.
- Ensure data backup and system security, including user access and disaster recovery.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Implement new systems and projects to improve IT efficiency and effectiveness.
- Document IT processes and assist in preparing reports.
