We are a Spice exporter in Sri Lanka and we are looking for a highly capable individual to fill the current position:
Production Supervisor- Food Industry (Spices)
We are looking for a team player that has the knowledge and experience in food/spices processing, and manufacturing of spices and agricultural products.
- Must have the ability to work under high pressure/stress environment.
- Should have a degree in Food Science or related.
- Should have at least 5 years' experience in Food processing and manufacturing.
- Must have experience and knowledge in handling Spices: Cinnamon, Cloves, Black Pepper...etc
- Must have experience in Spices processing and Pre-cleaning.
- Should have technical knowledge on Spices processing and Pre-cleaning machinery.
- Must have the ability to conduct Production planning.
- Sound knowledge and skill in food analysis (Chemical, Physical & microbiological).
- Must have experience in overseeing spices production, manufacture, processors and work flows.
- Must have knowledge on compliance of Food Safety Certifications: ISO 22,000, FSSC 22,000, BRC...etc
- Must have knowledge on machinery installation based on production flow, streamlining production flows.
- Must have experience in managing and supervising factory workers.
- Must have knowledge on stock maintenance and maintaining factory records- GRNS, GDNS, Weight recording...etc
- Should have great communication skills.
- Looking for a MALE candidate between ages 30-50
