Position:

Assistant Company Secretary

Role:

The job holder will be responsible for liaising, coordinating, and executing work between the Board of Directors and the Company Secretary. They will also ensure effective corporate communication with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drafting board resolutions and maintaining minutes of meetings
  • Coordinating logistics for various meetings
  • Assisting with work related to board committees/subsidiary companies
  • Handling dividend payments and share issues
  • Ensuring compliance with internal and external controls
  • Liaising with corporate and middle management
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should:

  • Be a Chartered Secretary or possess a similar professional qualification
  • Have at least 5 years of experience in a similar role
  • Have experience in a Public Listed Company in the Finance Sector
  • Possess a practicing certificate issued by the Registrar of Companies
  • Have demonstrable Boardroom experience
  • Previous experience with Board PAC
  • Be familiar with regulatory and statutory requirements
  • Have good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be detail-oriented and analytical
