Customer Service Executive

Overview of the Role

The Customer Service Representative is the engine of Logistics Worldwide! The Customer Service Representative must PROVIDE EXCELLENT customer service, handle complaints, provide appropriate solutions for customers, and follow up to resolve any issues their customers experience.

What will you do?

  • Update customers and overseas agents proactively
  • Ability to resolve issues quickly in a cost-effective manner
  • Frequent coordination through mails and phones with both customers and overseas agents Handling overseas coordination for nomination shipment.
  • Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays that may arise.
  • Provide prompt and courteous customer support via phone, email
  • Address customer inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to improve processes and enhance customer satisfaction. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in logistics and customer service. Sending pre-alerts to customers/Operation in a timely manner

Required skills to be successful

  • 1-2 years' Experience in Freight forwarding and Logistics industry is a MUST
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English) Computer literacy
  • Independent

Office Location - ROBERT GUNAWARDENA MAWATHA Battaramulla

Working hours: Monday to Friday from 10.00 am to 7.00 pm (1 Hour Lunch Break) Saturdays from 10.00 am to 2.00 pm.

Holidays: Holidays declared by the Government of the UAE for the private sectors.
