Original Apparel (Pvt) Ltd is a premier export-oriented apparel manufacturing facility based in Sri Lanka, with operational facilities spanning across the Western, Central, and Southern provinces.
The company is seeking a skilled Pattern Maker to join our dynamic team. As a Pattern Maker, you will play a crucial role in the production process, translating design concepts into precise patterns that ensure the perfect fit and aesthetic for our garments.
Pattern Maker-Bandaragama
Responsibilities:
- Develop and create patterns based on design specifications, ensuring accuracy and quality.
- Collaborate closely with garment technologists, and production teams to understand sketches and technical drawings.
- Utilize Optitex or Lectra software (experience preferred) to create and manipulate patterns efficiently.
- Conduct fittings and make necessary adjustments to patterns to achieve desired fit and style.
- Ensure patterns are optimized for production efficiency and material utilization.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation of patterns and alterations.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Pattern Maker in an apparel manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency in pattern making techniques and garment construction principles.
- Familiarity with Optitex or Lectra software is highly advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in pattern development.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
