ASSISTANT ACCOUNTANT
We are looking for a dynamic, ambitious, and energetic individual with solid experience in finance to step into the vital role of improving our company's profitability. You will directly report to the Accountant, CFO, and the board of directors.
Key Role & Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial advice to the Management for informed decision-making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial information
- Undertaking the feasibility study of new projects of the company and playing a key role in the success of the assigned projects. Handling the accounting and administration functions of local property Management operations.
- Full responsibility for Foreign operations of the company including preparation of Annual Budgets, Monthly and Annual Financial Statements, Working capital management, tax planning, Risk Management, and finalization of the Annual audit Ensure Continuous process improvements and effective cost management strategies.
- Training, Mentoring, and developing subordinate staff
Required skills and experience
- Possess a bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounts and Full/Part Qualification with CA Sri Lanka/CIMA/ACCA A minimum 2 years experience in a similar Capacity
- Age preferably below 45 years
- Experience in Quick book/ERP system and MS Office packages
- Sound Knowledge of basic accounting principles and procedures
- Ability to work independently to deadlines and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Excellent Analytical, Decision making and problem-solving Skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
