Merchandiser - Procurement
Key Responsibilities
- Should possess thorough knowledge in fabric, trims, garments with various finishes
- Analyzing delivery charts
- Managing raw material stock
- Methods of assessing suppliers, industry norms and standards
- Ensure that raw materials for orders are purchased timely & cost-effectively
- Constantly monitoring order progress & taking remedial action when required
- Develop & maintain strong professional relationships
- Cost-effectively manage all designated responsibilities
Person Specifications
- Bachelor's Degree or an equivalent professional qualification in Marketing / Business Administration/Apparel
- Minimum 02 years relevant work experience in an Apparel manufacturing environment
- Team player possessing strong analytical, interpersonal, negotiation, time management skills
- Able to work under pressure with a positive attitude
- Ability to multi-task, work independently under minimum supervision
- Follow through on commitments and meet assigned deadlines
- Proactive, assertive and a forward-thinker
- Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when needed
- Excellent communication skills in English both written and spoken
