JOB ROLE

We are seeking an experienced Civil Site Supervisor/Engineer for the immediate execution of a specialized tower structural upgrade and rectification project at a designated project site in Nuwara Eliya. This is a full-time, site-based position offered on an initial 1-year contract.

PREREQUISITES

• At least a national level Diploma in Civil Engineering (minimum)
• Willingness to be stationed full-time at the Nuwara Eliya site for the contract duration
• Site supervision of civil works (at-height work / tower environment experience will be an advantage)
• Coordination of civil, electrical, and equipment installation works on active infrastructure sites
• Structural strengthening & corrosion rectification (galvanizing, welding, bolt/gusset plate replacement)
• Industrial painting systems (marine-grade coatings) and quality assurance
• Experience in steel tower/structural fabrication, erection, and modification will be an advantage

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Supervise daily civil and structural works on-site, ensuring quality, safety, and schedule compliance
• Coordinate steel fabrication, erection, and tower modification works
• Oversee structural strengthening, corrosion rectification, and re-galvanizing/painting works
• Monitor welding, bolting, and steel connection works against approved methodologies
• Liaise with Chartered Structural Engineers, consultants, and the client on inspections and sign-offs
• Manage site mobilization, accommodation, additional work, variations and labour resources.

An industry-standard remuneration package will be offered according to experience levels. Candidates residing in or near Nuwara Eliya are preferred, given the site-based nature of this role.
