Accountant (Female)
RKS Lanka is a BOI Registered German company located in the Export Processing Zone, Katunayake. RKS Lanka is one of the largest Jewellery manufactures in Sri Lanka, exporting to Europe, USA and UK. We are seeking a dynamic, self-motivated individual who thrives on challenges for the position of Accountant.
Job Specification:
- Degree or Master’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or Full Professional Qualification in recognized accounting body (CA/ACCA/CIMA).
- Minimum of 03 years’ Experience in Similar capacity.
- Strong analytical, cost calculation, leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in BOI-related manufacturing and export-oriented industries will be considered an added advantage.
- Experience in factory costing/production costing and good knowledge of accounting software and MS Excel.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Age below 40 Years old.
Job Responsibilities:
- Handle financial reporting and accounting functions in line with company policies and standards.
- Prepare and analyze management accounts and periodic financial reports.
- Perform financial analysis to support decision-making.
- Manage payroll processing and payment administration accurately and timely.
- Manage budgeting and cash flow activities to ensure financial stability and efficiency.
- Prepare and submit tax returns in compliance with statutory requirements.
- Ensure RAMIS and other online compliance obligations are met.
- Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring regulatory compliance.
- Liaise with BOI, government authorities, and other statutory bodies.
- Oversee import and export-related financial operations.
- Maintain proper stock and inventory records and controls.
- Manage licenses and certifications, ensuring timely renewals and compliance.
- Strong analytical thinking, cost control and financial planning, attention to detail, and a problem-solving mindset.
