QUALITY ASSURANCE ENGINEER
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define and contribute to test strategies, test plans, and testing approaches.
- Design and develop comprehensive test scenarios and test cases.
- Execute manual and exploratory testing across software applications.
- Analyze test results, identify defects, and communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
- Configure and maintain test environments and support continuous integration activities.
- Manage defects, issues, and testing-related tasks using JIRA.
- Collaborate with developers and other stakeholders to investigate defects, support bug fixes, and ensure product quality.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or an equivalent qualification.
- Minimum 1 - 2 years of professional experience in software testing.
- Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, processes, and test design techniques.
- Hands-on experience in manual and exploratory testing.
- Basic knowledge of programming concepts and coding standards.
- Knowledge or experience in test automation using Selenium and Appium is an added advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively within an Agile development environment.
- Willingness to learn and stay updated with the latest QA and testing practices.
- Testing or Agile-related certifications are an added advantage.
