MANAGER INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT)
Sri Lanka Technology Campus (SLTC) is seeking a dynamic and results-oriented professional to lead the University's Information Technology Services. The successful candidate will oversee IT operations and infrastructure, drive digital transformation, strengthen cybersecurity, manage enterprise systems and technology projects, and deliver innovative IT solutions that support the University's academic and administrative excellence.
THE ROLE
- Manage the University's IT Division and provide technical leadership.
- Oversee the operation and maintenance of the University's network, servers, IT infrastructure, enterprise systems, LMS, ERP, website, email services, and digital platforms.
- Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of on-premises software applications.
- Plan and implement IT projects, system upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
- Ensure cybersecurity, data protection, disaster recovery, and business continuity.
- Manage IT budgets, procurement, software licensing, and vendor relationships.
- Monitor IT operations and recommend improvements to support the University's strategic objectives.
THE REQUIREMENTS
- A degree in an ICT-related field or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in Information Technology, including at least 3 years in a managerial or supervisory role.
- Proven experience in managing IT infrastructure, networks, servers, enterprise systems, cloud services, and on-premises software development.
- Sound knowledge of cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Linux, virtualization, databases, and IT project management.
- Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
