Vacancy Post for Property & Maintenance Manager
About the role
An individual to join our Bismil Trading & Tailoring - Papua New Guinea is seeking a motivated, reliable, and experienced team member as Property Manager. This is an excellent opportunity for a results-driven professional to oversee daily Property operations and contribute to the growth of our business.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure all company properties and rental units are maintained to a consistently high standard through regular inspections and proactive maintenance planning
- Lead and manage the maintenance team — currently an Electrician and a Handyman — assigning work, monitoring quality, and supporting their performance
- Coordinate with external contractors and suppliers for repairs, renovations, and specialized maintenance
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reporting for both properties and vehicles.
- Ensure all facilities and vehicles comply with relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards
- Manage maintenance-related budgets and report regularly to management on property and fleet status.
- Oversee the company's transportation assets, including servicing schedules, registration renewals, and roadworthiness compliance
Requirements
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent recognized trade or supervisory certificate in Electrical, Mechanical, or Facilities Management.
- Minimum of 3–5 years' Proven experience in a related field.
- Strong management and leadership skills, with demonstrated ability to supervise a technical maintenance team
- Sound working knowledge of building maintenance practices and basic vehicle upkeep principles
- Excellent organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Valid driving license required.

Salary & Benefits:
- Salary package: US$ 850
- Vacation (leave) will be granted after 2 years of service
- Visa and air ticket Costs Covered by the Company
