OFFICER

FINANCE & ACCOUNTING

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Process accounting transactions and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform bank, customer, supplier, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Review and monitor capital expenditure proposals and approved projects, ensuring compliance with the Company's capital expenditure approval process and proper capitalization of assets.
• Support internal and external audit requirements.
• Maintain accounting schedules and supporting documentation.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.

REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Part qualification in CA Sri Lanka, CIMA, ACCA, AAT, or equivalent professional accounting qualification.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Finance & Accounting.
• Sound knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Experience in reconciliations and maintaining accounting schedules.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism.
