SALES COORDINATOR
Location: Colombo, Sri Lanka
We are an international trading company engaged in the sourcing, distribution and supply of construction materials and engineering equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Sales coordination: Coordinate sales activities and customer enquiries
- Quotations: Prepare quotations, costing and commercial proposals
- Project follow-up: Follow up with contractors, consultants and project teams
- Order management: Coordinate purchase orders, invoices and deliveries
- Customer management: Maintain customer databases and follow up on pending orders
- Sales reporting: Prepare weekly and monthly sales reports
- Technical coordination: Coordinate technical submittals, catalogues and product documentation
- Payment follow-up: Assist with customer credit and outstanding payment follow-ups
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar Sales Coordination role
- Proven experience handling field sales staff and sales operations
- Strong knowledge of sales documentation and reporting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and strong organizational ability
- Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Experience in the building materials or construction industry will be an added advantage
