Executive – Garment Technology
Location - Kandy
Key Responsibilities
- Study and understand customer requirements, including concept sketches, specifications and tech packs.
- Develop production feasible products and ensure smooth sampling to bulk production.
- Attend fit sessions and evaluate sample quality and measurements.
- Coordinate with customers, factory teams and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
- Conduct risk analysis, pre-production and other product development meetings.
Person Specifications
- A Degree/Diploma in Fashion Designing, Textile & Clothing or Garment Technology.
- 3 – 6 years’ experience in a similar capacity (lingerie experience is an added advantage).
- Knowledge in pattern making/grading and sewing will be an added advantage.
- Good communication and team management skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office and a positive attitude.
Pattern Maker
Location - Kandy
Key Responsibilities
- Create, interpret and modify patterns based on design specifications and customer requirements.
- Attend fit sessions (online and physical) and make necessary amendments.
- Prepare production patterns and ensure accuracy for bulk production.
- Work closely with designers, merchandisers and factory teams to resolve fit or pattern-related issues.
- Evaluate sample quality and measurements, and support sampling and costings within timelines.
Person Specifications
- Diploma or professional certification in Pattern Making and Grading (or a related field).
- Minimum 3 years’ experience as a Pattern Maker in the apparel industry.
- Proficiency in manual and CAD systems (Gerber/Lectra).
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, sizing, grading and fit standards.
- Good communication, organizational and time-management skills.
- Experience in bra pattern development and grading will be considered an added advantage.
