Job Description
DRAUGHTSMAN – CIVIL (Ampara)
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed civil and structural drawings using AutoCAD or relevant software
- Prepare shop drawings, construction drawings, as-built drawings and details
- Modify drawings according to engineers' and consultants' comments
- Maintain proper drawing registers and document revisions
- Coordinate drawings with site conditions and other engineering disciplines
- Support engineers and site teams with technical drawings
Qualifications:
- Diploma/ Certificate in Civil Draughtsmanship, Drafting or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in civil construction or engineering projects
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and preferably Revit or other relevant drafting software
- Good understanding of civil, structural, architectural drawings and construction details
- Ability to prepare accurate drawings according to project requirements
