MANAGER NATIONAL DEALER SALES

We invite a sales professional with experience in managing an island wide dealer and distributor network to join Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC as the Manager National Dealer Sales.
The Role
Manager National Dealer Sales will lead the national dealer sales team of Dankotuwa Porcelain PLC, driving sales growth, managing key dealer relationships, and ensuring the effective distribution of products across the country and timely recoveries.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets within the national dealer network.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with key dealers to foster partnerships and drive sales performance.
- Monitoring sales performance, identifying areas for improvement, and providing insights to the sales team and management.
- Preparing sales reports, analyzing sales data, and making recommendations to improve sales strategies.
- Assisting in market research to identify new business opportunities and monitoring competitor activities within the dealer network.
- Planning and executing promotional activities and events to drive sales within the dealer network.
- Ensuring optimal stock levels at dealer locations and coordinating with the supply chain to meet sales demand.
- Training and supervising dealer sales staff, ensuring they are equipped with the necessary skills.
Key Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field; professional qualification in marketing is advantageous.
- Over 10 years of experience in dealer sales preferably in a homeware related industry with a proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing dealer network effectively.
- Residing in close proximity to Dankotuwa will be an advantage.
