VACANCY - MAINTENANCE HEAD
We are looking for an experienced and technically strong Maintenance Head to lead our maintenance operations in the Flexible Packaging Manufacturing Industry.

REQUIREMENTS
- Degree / Higher Diploma in Mechatronics Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in industrial maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and automation systems.
- Proven experience in preventive and breakdown maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in leading and managing a maintenance team.
- Good knowledge of maintenance planning, machine reliability and spare-parts management.
- Knowledge or experience in the Flexible Packaging Industry will be an added advantage.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage and supervise the overall maintenance function.
- Ensure maximum machine availability and minimum production downtime.
- Plan and monitor preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Lead troubleshooting and breakdown recovery activities.
- Improve machine reliability, efficiency and maintenance standards.
- Manage spare parts, maintenance costs and external technical services.
- Coordinate closely with Production, QA and other departments.
- Ensure compliance with safety and maintenance procedures.

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- Proven hands-on experience running or building a maintenance function in a manufacturing environment — packaging, plastics, printing, or similar process industries preferred.
- A track record of introducing planning and preventive maintenance where none existed before — not just managing a system someone else built.
- Genuine people leadership — someone who earns respect from experienced technicians, not just a title.
- Solid working knowledge across mechanical and electrical systems; process/printing or extrusion machinery exposure is a strong advantage.
- Professional qualification in mechanical/electrical engineering or equivalent is preferred, but strong demonstrable experience will be given serious weight.
