Job Responsibilities
- Conducting routine maintenance and troubleshooting of electrical systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborating with the engineering team to provide technical support for installation, operation and repair of electrical components.
- Timely rectify machinery faults to minimize downtime and disruptions.
- Ensuring that all electrical work is performed in accordance with safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation of electrical maintenance activities.
Qualifications and Experience
- Completed a minimum of NVQ Level 3 in Electrical or an equivalent qualification from the Ceylon German Technical Training College or any other recognized institute.
- GWO Basic Safety Training certification and prior experience in wind power plants will be considered a strong advantage.
- Previous experience in electrical maintenance and repair is an added advantage.
- Good knowledge of electrical systems and components.
- Knowledge of engineering projects would be an added advantage.
- Must be a team player with excellent communication and the ability to work independently.
