INVENTORY CONTROLLER

We are a well-established, ISO certified processing company, engages in production, processing and marketing of wide range of chicken products under “Delmo” brand. Due to expansion of our operations we are seeking the services of following professionals to support our growth.

Job Purpose:

To effectively control and maintain accurate inventory records, ensure proper stock management, minimize stock losses and variances, and ensure the timely availability of materials, products, and supplies required for smooth business operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and control daily inventory movements, including receiving, issuing, transfers, and returns.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure system stock matches physical stock.
  • Conduct regular stock counts and investigate stock variances.
  • Monitor stock levels, reorder points, slow-moving, damaged, and expired items.
  • Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO stock rotation where applicable.
  • Verify received goods against purchase orders and delivery documents.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports.
  • Maintain proper inventory documentation and support stock audits.
  • Coordinate with Stores, Purchasing, Production, Finance, and other relevant departments.
  • Identify and minimize stock losses, wastage, and discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with company inventory control policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Inventory Management, Business Management, or a related field.
  • 2–5 years of relevant experience in inventory, stores, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
  • Good knowledge of inventory control and stock management procedures.
  • Good knowledge of MS Excel and ERP/Inventory Management Systems.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and reconciliation skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Good communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • High level of integrity, responsibility, and accountability.
