Senior Garment Technologist
Location: Biyagama
The Senior Garment Technologist is responsible for coordinating and providing technical support in fitting for the assigned products/styles. Ensure on-time garment development and approval from DI to red tag (fit approval) to secure OTD. This includes understanding customer requirements, communication with the customer, centric uploads, pad and wire developments, and other related tasks to meet customer requirements and drive successful development.
What you will do:
- Review technical packs and design intent and align teams on requirements.
- Assess product risks and drive solutions during development.
- Guide construction, sampling, and pattern development for optimal results.
- Evaluate fit, comfort, and appearance and provide clear fit comments.
- Manage development timelines, customer communication, and team guidance.
Ideal profile:
- Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Clothing Technology
- 3+ years of experience in similar capacity
- Experience of Product Development in a customer-based environment focusing Technical/Fit/Garment Construction and Production Feasibility would be an added qualification.
- Expertise in operating 3D software.
