STORE KEEPER
J.N. INTERIORS is a leading interior designing and civil construction company which has earned its reputation for interior designing in Sri Lanka since 1998.
As part of our expansion, we have established a new furniture factory in Bandaragama, equipped with advanced machinery and the latest manufacturing technologies. We are seeking a responsible and organized Store Keeper to manage inventory operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock control, efficient material handling, and smooth coordination with production and other departments to support our interior design manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, and properly store incoming raw materials, components, and finished goods.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update stock movements in the system.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate timely replenishment of materials.
- Issue materials to production departments according to approved requests.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials to prevent damage or loss.
- Conduct regular stock checks and support periodic inventory audits.
- Maintain store organization, cleanliness, and safety standards.
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, and logistics teams for smooth material flow.
- Prepare inventory reports and communicate stock status to management.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures and safety requirements.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Minimum 2–5 years of experience as a Store Keeper, Inventory Assistant, or similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of inventory control, stock management, and material handling procedures.
- Experience using inventory management systems or ERP software will be an advantage.
- Good numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to maintain proper documentation and records.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
