Power Plant Supervisor

We are on the lookout for a versatile individual who is keen to establish a long-term career in the field of Renewable energy generation, to be a part of our Operational supervisory team.
He is expected to mainly engage in:
- Manage powerplant to result in the maximum generation and sustain it
- Ensure the technical faults are attended with the minimum downtime
- Manage the powerplant staff with positive attitude and sustaining the organizational culture
- Manage the powerplant operations with stipulated budget
- Manage and be responsible for the overall finances of the power plant operations
- Manage and administer the site expenditure and petty cash
- Coordinate with area CEB officials and local authorities ensuring sustainable business relationship
- Ensure building up a network of local contacts for supplies required for all power plant operations including technical and construction supplies
- Coordination with suppliers as required
- Sustain the wellbeing of the environment and adjacent community of the powerplant with required level of CSR activities
- Initiate and support the operational sustainable activities of the powerplant
Candidate Profile
- Full qualification in a Diploma level in Electrical/ electromechanical Engineering related discipline
- Minimum 4 years’ experience in similar capacity
- Previous experience working in mini hydpower or solar power plants will be a definite advantage
- Excellent people and relationship management skills
- Ability to work in tense situations and problem-solving skills
- Ability to relocate in project sites at different areas of the country
- Retired Military officers are also encouraged to apply
