Mechanical Foreman

Colombo Dockyard PLC, Sri Lanka’s premier shipbuilding and ship-repair facility, invites aspiring professionals to embark on a dynamic career path as a Mechanical Foreman. Candidate Profile

• Full qualification in NDT / HNDE / NDES in Mechanical Engineering or NVQ Level 6 or equivalent.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance, repair and troubleshooting of pumps, motors, rotating equipment, valves, pipelines and other industrial mechanical equipment will be an added advantage.

General Requirements

• Educational Background : Passed GCE (A/L) in Physical Science stream
• Age : Below 35 years
• Language Skills: Strong command of English (written, spoken, and comprehension)
• Computer Literacy : Basic proficiency in Computer Operations
• Attributes
  • Highly motivated and energetic.
  • Physically fit and able to thrive in demanding environments.
  • A collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

The selected candidates will be appointed initially on a Fixed Term Contract Basis for a period of one (01) year.
